Catholic Engaged Encounter of Stockton, Inc., is a volunteer-run ministry. If you are looking for a way to volunteer as a couple – Catholic Engaged Encounter might be for you.
Do you believe in the Sacrament of Marriage? Do you want to give engaged couples the tools for a successful marriage? If you answered yes, you and your spouse might be interested in helping as a presenting couple. Serving as a presenting couple involves writing talks on topics using your personal marital experience. You and your spouse must be in good standing with the Catholic Church to serve as a presenting couple.
If you would like to be a face in our community but aren’t called to be a presenting couple, you may be interested in serving as a host couple. Host couples arrive before the weekend starts to help set up and check in the engaged couples. This commitment involves an hour or two of your time but serves as a warm welcome to the engaged couples we serve.
